JOBS

The two fastest growing jobs in the United States are wind technicians and solar installers, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Employment is projected to grow this decade in those professions as well as environmental scientists and specialists, including health; hazardous materials removal workers, environmental engineers, and other climate and environmentally-related jobs. Each of these occupations has a higher median annual wage than the median for all workers.

SCIENTIFIC CONSENSUS

Studies have found that the Scientific Consensus on climate change is effective across party lines. 97% of scientists agree that global warming is happening and caused by human activity. This has been confirmed (Naomi Oreskes, 2004), reconfirmed (John Cook et al, 2013 ), and re-reconfirmed (Cook et al, 2016). “We examine the available studies and conclude that the finding of 97% consensus in published climate research is robust and consistent with other surveys of climate scientists and peer-reviewed studies.” Here is NASA’s consensus assessment, including a directory of Worldwide Scientific Organizations agreeing with the Scientific Consensus.
